Rinchenpong is at a height of 5576 feet above sea level (1,700m) and is well-known for its Rigsum Monastery and hiking trails. The location is well-known for its spectacular views of the Kanchenjunga range of mountains. The famed Varsey rhododendron asylum is also located in the Kaluk - Rinchenpong region.

How to reach?

By road: Guests can take a vehicle from Siliguri that will take approximately 5 hours to reach Rinchenpong. From Siliguri, guests can take the Melli – Jorethang – Reshi course to reach Rinchenpong and from Gangtok, they will take the Ravangla – Legship – Reshi – Rinchinpong course.

By air: The nearest airport is Bagdogra airport. Guests can take a cab to reach Rinchenpong which is almost a 5 hours drive.

By railways: The nearest railways is New Jalpaiguri Railway Station from where you can take a vehicle that will take approximately 5 hours to reach Rinchenpong.
