Hundreds of thousands of people visit this capital city each year.
Spend the first portion of the day relaxing. Take a stroll around the famous M.G. Marg (Mahatma Gandhi Road) in the evening and head to the hotel for the night.
Enjoy a trip to Changu Lake and Baba Mandir. Changu Lake, also known as Tsomoga Lake, is located approximately 2 hours from Gangtok. Visit Kyongnosla Alpine Sanctuary, which is home to Red Pandas, Himalayan Black Bears, and other animals.
Proceed to Baba Mandir, which is 20 kilometres from Changu Lake, after admiring the lovely Tsomogo Lake. Baba Mandir is a shrine dedicated to Harbajan Singh, a martyred army general known as the "Hero of Nathula." If you obtain a permit, you can also visit Nathula Pass. Return to the hotel for a second night's stay in Gangtok.
After an early morning breakfast on Day 3, head to Kalimpong and arrive at your desired hotel. Check into the hotel when you arrive to rest and refresh.
You have the remainder of the day free to explore the neighbouring sights. Take a stroll in the evening and sample some of the mouthwatering street dishes. Dinner and an overnight stay in Kalimpong are included.
After breakfast, get ready for a full day of sightseeing in Kalimpong. Begin your journey by visiting Durpin Dara Hill. Durpin Monastery and the stunning Panoramic view of the Kalimpong Valley and Mount Kanchenjunga are the main attractions of this landmark destination.
Then, one by one, visit Cactus Nursery, Dr. Graham's Home, Deolo Hills, and other tourist attractions. After you've finished your sightseeing, you'll be driven back to your accommodation. Have dinner and spend the night in a Kalimpong hotel.
After a wholesome breakfast at the hotel, drive to Darjeeling which is a 3 hours journey. After travelling a distance of about a hundred kilometres, arrive at your booked accommodation in Darjeeling.
Early risers will be rewarded with a spectacular dawn over snow-capped Mount Kanchenjunga from Tiger Hill. Observe the first rays of the light as they reach the Kanchenjunga from afar.
Stop by Batasia Loop and Ghoom monastery on your way back to the hotel. The Batasia Loop's spiral railway track and war memorial will astonish you.
After lunch, go to the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute to see some of the instruments that Tenzing Norgay used on his first expedition to Mount Everest.
You will also be taken one by one to the Happy Valley Tea Estate, Himalayan Zoological Park, and Tibetan Refugee Centre.
Drive back to your accommodation after the sightseeing to spend the night in Darjeeling.
