After arriving at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP)/ Bagdogra Airport, make you way towards Kalimpong.
This 3 hour journey by road to a historical destination on the old silk route is at an elevation of 1243 meters/ 4078 feet. The tranquil scenery of tall green mountains and the raging River Teesta will accompany you on your journey to this bustling town.
On the way to Kalimpong you can stop for a prayer at Sevoke Kalibari (the goddess Kali's temple) which is a pleasant way to begin the ascent. Sevoke Kali Temple is located at the banks of the Teesta River and is surrounded by lush flora.
After traversing around 75 kilometres, arrive in Kalimpong and check into the hotel. After freshening up, enjoy the remainder of the day by strolling through the local market in search of antiquities and handicrafts. Kalimpong is a good place to spend the night.

Have an early breakfast at the hotel and begin your journey to Darjeeling, the Queen of the Hills (3 hours), which is surrounded by lush green woods and tea gardens. The viewpoint of "Lovers Meet," from which the confluence of the rivers Teesta and Rangeet can be seen, is a good place to halt.
Stop midway at Lamahatta on the road to Darjeeling where you may experience tranquilly and natural beauty. Seductive garden, watchtower, stunning orchid blossoms, and prayer flags that float in the breeze make it a wonderful site in the middle of nature to take a break from the 3 hour ride and enjoy lunch.
Continue your travel towards Darjeeling; the distance from Lamahatta to Darjeeling is now only 23 kilometres. After checking into your hotel and freshening up, you have the rest of the evening to yourself.
Soak a stroll through the mall or sit for a while on a nearby seat in Chowrasta, relax and take in the atmosphere while watching the activity.
During the fourth day, head to Tiger Hill to witness a stunning sunrise over Mount Kanchenjunga as you begin your sightseeing tour. Breakfast is served at the hotel. During the journey, stop at Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop, and other attractions.
After breakfast, visit the majority of the notable sites that are still in the area. Himalayan Mountaineering Institute and Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park are in the same are. If you have enough time you can also visit Peace Pagoda, and other nearby attractions!
After a successful day of sightseeing, return to the resort for an overnight stay in the evening.
