• Tigerhill - For one of the most mesmerising sunrises, wake up early and take a three-point tour of Tiger Hill. Ancient Tibetan monasteries in Darjeeling include Old Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop where the toy train makes a dramatic loop at an altitude of 140ft. This tour will conclude by 8:45 am.
• Visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, which has climbing walls and a museum filled with artefacts and gears used by Tenzing Norgay on his first expedition to Mt. Everest, before returning to your hotel for breakfast.
